What the Service Offers

As a Private Client, you can access the Social Support Group that operates in the Active Lifestyle Centre and provides activities to frail older people, designed to develop, maintain or support the capacity for independent living and social interaction, which are conducted in a day centre setting.

Active Lifestyle Centre includes group excursions / activities conducted by centre staff but held away from the centre.

These services involve a structured program and may include such activities as:

• music therapy
• allied health care
• outings and day trip
• personal care (e.g. assistance with toileting)
• provision of a meal and assistance with eating
• provision of transport to and from centre-based care
• communication with carers where appropriate.

Carers, if any, will receive a break from their usual caring relationship.
