HOME CARE TRANSPORT

What Transport Services Do We Offer?

We offer a number of transport services in and around Singleton and Maitland local gorvernment areas, including:

The Town Bus Service

Providing door-to-door transport around the Singleton Town.  It operates week days and Saturday mornings.

This service transports people around Singleton to facilitate their shopping and banking, to attend doctors or other medical appointments, to head to a local club or just to visit a friend.

BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL

To use this service, you must book at least 24 hours in advance. We are unable to provide this service if you ring up on the day - unless it is required for you to attend an urgent medical visit. Bookings are made by calling our office on Tel (02) 6571 2300.

REMEMBER! Please allow at least 24 hours notice when booking this service so we can be of assistance to you.

Outlying areas

Each fortnight, our buses service the outlying areas of Singleton and bring our rural clients into town for shopping and to attend medical appointments. We currently service the Branxton, Glendonbrook, Glendon, Warkworth and Jerry's Plains, Bulga, Broke, Milbrodale and Camberwell communities.

Newcastle Trip

Once a month, our buses go to Newcastle via Maitland, to take clients shopping, to medical specialists, or just to visit friends and family there. This service operates on the fourth Monday of each month. This service is door-to-door.

Medical Drive Service

We also operate a volunteer medical drive service. This service uses unpaid volunteer drivers from both the Singleton and Maitland communities. They take our clients to specialist medical appointments out of town. Our volunteer drivers can go to Maitland, Kurri, Cessnock, Muswellbrook Newcastle and Sydney.

People wishing to use this service are asked to make their specialist appointments between the hours of 11.00am and 1.00pm.

Fourteen days notice is required to arrange a volunteer drive. It is never too early to book.

REMEMBER TO BOOK EARLY!
ALL BOOKINGS are to be made by contacting our office on
Tel (02) 6571 2300. (Please do not give bookings to the drivers.)
